that will amaze you. Whether you’re a new visitor or returning; enjoying one of
the six islands (or all of them) will offer a pleasurable experience that will

earth) will invite you to explore the islands to enjoy the ultimate traveling
experience.
Discovering Hawaii
Hawaii has the most active volcanoes in the world
and tallest mountains. Best known of modern surfing and the hula dance, and
delicious Hawaiian Cuisine, but the best feature of Hawaii is the unique
feature of its “Aloha Spirit.” Warming greetings from the Hawaiian natives
perfectly complements the island’s temperatures.
Six beautiful islands of Hawaii is (The Main Land)
and Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai, Maui. Each of the islands has their own
uniqueness offering plenty of adventures, activities, and sights. Mark Twain
called Hawaii “That peaceful land, that
beautiful land... the climate, one long delicious summer day, and the good that
die experience no change, for they but fall asleep in one heaven and wake up in
another.” The islands of Aloha invite you to explore and encounter your own
tropical Hawaiian experience.
Hawaii Island (The Big Island)
The island of Hawaii, the youngest and biggest
island, provides a broad canvas of its natural environment; contains one of the
most active volcanoes (Kilauea), tallest sea mountain of 33,000 feet
(Maunakea), most massive mountain (Maunaloa), and the largest state park
(Hawaii Volcanoes National Park). This island’s climate zone creates lush rain
forest, volcanic deserts, snow-capped mountain-tops, and beautiful black sand
beaches.
Hawaii Island is referred as the “Big Island”
because it is nearly twice the size as the other Hawaiian Islands combined. The
ample size and scope of the largest of six islands, creates a planet of
environments and activities. On this island you will find luxury resorts,
beautiful golf courses, and sacred Hawaiian Historical sites such as the
birthplace of King Kamehameha and Hawaii’s first missionary church in Historic
Kailua Village (Kailua-Kona).
Kauai (The Island of Discovery)
Exploring the cliffs of the Napali Coast or the
Waimea Canyon, the island of Kauai entices your senses by exploring the island
via land, sea, or air; that’s unimaginable. The land has 50 miles of lovely
beaches from Poipu Beach to Hanalei Bay. Inviting you to explore the historic
small towns such as Hanapepe and Koloa (where no building is taller than a
coconut tree), there is so much to encounter of the Island of Kauai.
Kauai is known to be the fourth largest of the six
islands, and is referred to the “Garden Isle,” because of its northern-most
island draped in emerald valleys, sharp mountains, and jagged cliffs. Besides
Kauai’s beauty, you will enjoy many outdoor activities such as kayaking on the
Wailua River, snorkeling on Poipu Beach, and hiking on the trails of Kokee
State Park. Most of all the island’s relaxing atmosphere and rich culture
discovered within the small towns and one-lane bridges that makes the adventure
simply enjoyable.
Lanai (The Enticing
Island)
The island of Lanai is the true meaning of beauty,
tranquility, and a romantic getaway! You will find yourself indulging in
elegance and comfort of two luxury Four Seasons resorts, unwind at the
historical Hotel Lanai in the beautiful city of Lanai. Not to mention relaxing
and rejuvenating on the peaceful secluded island. For golf-lovers, there is a
wonderful two high-caliber golf courses, for relaxation or challenging game. If
you have an interest in exploration and adventure, go on a quest for
captivating sights of lunar landscapes of Keahiakawelo (Garden of the Gods) and
the iconic PuuPehe (the Sweet Rock) is the place to start.
Although, Lanai is one of the smallest of the six
islands, it offers excitement to visitors of amazing views top of the
pine-lined Munro Trail or watching beautiful creatures like the dolphins from
the Hulopoe Bay. This special little island offers serenity, adventure, and
intimacy you’ll sure to find in a “getaway” vacation.
Maui (The Magic Island)
Maui is known as the “Best Island” because of its
heavenly beaches and natural scenic environment. There are many reasons to love
Maui because of its seaside streets of Lahaina and beautiful beaches of
Kaanapali. This island is known for its powerful view of Haleakala National
park and historical arts and culture of Kahului and upcountry Maui. There are
plenty of activities of golf courses, and a scenic road to Hana, and to enjoy
your vacation on the “Valley Isle” will simply be unforgettable! The view of
thousands of humpback whales migrating in Maui’s warm waters is surely an
interesting sight.
Maui is known as the second largest of the Hawaiian
Islands with a small population; popular to the visitors looking for elegant
variations of small towns and airy resorts within the island. With the
enjoyment of scenic slopes of Maui to its beaches, and a visit to Valley Isle
for a beautiful view; it’s no wonder it’s voted the best place in the word to
visit.
Exploring Molokai
Best known for “Hawaiian by Nature,” Molokai Island
is full of serene seascapes, unspoiled coastlines, and untamed wilderness that
is truly of its traditions. Molokai is the fifth largest island of only 38
miles long and 10 miles across of its widest point. The Hawaiian culture a small town area near
Maunaloa, is the birthplace of hula, the natural wonders of the Halawa Valley.
The simple activities to encounter is a quiet escape
or an outdoor adventure of sports fishing, or enjoying a little mule ride are
the quietest reasons to enjoy the island of Molokai. Also, to enjoy an exciting
bike ride with a 4-wheel drive for the great outdoor adventure, or hiking on a
1,700 foot cliffs in the direction to Kalaupapa National Historical Park.
Oahu (The Heart of Hawaii)
Visiting the island of Oahu amazes you with its
modern luxuries by swimming in the warm waters of Waikiki, or enjoying the
mountain views of Nuuanu Pali. Take a glimpse of surfers on the North Shore
during the day, and dancing at the fun nightlife spots around the capitol of
Honolulu. Don’t forget to stop in at Kapahulu to enjoy fine dining at a Five
Diamond Hawaiian Regional Cuisine restaurant.
Known as “The Gathering Place,’’ Oahu is the third
largest island and is the home of Hawaii’s most distinct population with the
combined east and west cultures from traditional Hawaiian natives. Other
enjoyable places to discover in Oahu: the clear blue ocean of Kailua Beach, the
historic memorials of Pearl Harbor, and the experience of “town and country” of
the heart of island paradise.
Traveling Tips
The Honolulu International Airport is the major
airport in Oahu, serving as the main gateway point to most of tourist and
greeted by a native with a beautiful lei (garland of flowers). Mostly all
domestic and international carriers serve Oahu, so traveling distance is
“smooth sailing” from any distance.
Traveling to direct flights from the United States
mainland to Maui, Kauai, and Hawaii Island, but the best direction to visit the
other islands including Lanai and Molokai; is through connecting through Oahu.
There are also ferry services from Lahaina Harbor of Maui to Manele Bay, Lanai
and Kaunakakai Harbor,
Molokai.
Temperature and Climates
Hawaiian weather is consistent of only two major
changes in temperature of the year. Consisting of two seasons of summer (Kau)
from May to October, and winter (Hooilo) from November to April. The average
temperature in the summer at sea level is 85 F (29.4 C), and the averaging
winter daytime temperature is 78 F (25.6 C); nighttime temperatures are
estimate of 10 degrees F.
Plan a Vacation Getaway
Planning your next vacation to Hawaii? There are
plenty of activities to choose from of snorkeling, dancing, trailing,
sight-seeing, hiking of any of the islands, and enjoying the Luau. If
relaxation is on your list of things to do; it will be hard to choose from the
beaches of Poipu in Kauai, Kailua beach in Oahu, or Kaanapali beach in Maui.
You will generate a long list of activities to accomplish on your next
luxurious getaway to Hawaii!
